Louisiana Parents Paid $530,000 in Child Support through MoneyGram in First 6 Months of 2017 08.17.17 - Parents who pay child support through the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services are increasingly finding MoneyGram a convenient way to make their payments. Participation has grown dramatically each month since DCFS aligned with the money transfer company in late 2016 to allow parents to electronically send payments to DCFS for transfer to custodial parents.

The affected area approved for DSNAP assistance is generally located south of Dwyer Road and Michoud Bayou, east of Wilson Avenue, north of Almonaster Avenue, and ?west of Gentilly Road. An impact map is attached and can be found at www.dcfs.la.gov/disaster and staff will be stationed at the DSNAP site entrance daily to verify addresses.

DCFS Celebrates Record Adoptions at 18th Annual Adoption Reception 11.04.16 - More foster children have found permanent homes over the past year than in any year thus far.
