Hailey Williams

Haley Williams was appointed DCFS Deputy Secretary in October 2025.

Haley is an accomplished attorney who brings to the role more than 15 years of public service in Louisiana. Throughout her career she has worked collaboratively across departmental and jurisdictional lines (federal, state, local), as well as with private stakeholders, to achieve common goals.

Most recently, she served at the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) in senior leadership over Medicaid Eligibility Program Operations, articulating complex policies, decisions, and the overarching vision to a highly diverse set of stakeholders, including public officials, employees, providers, and the public. Prior to that, Haley served as LDH Deputy General Counsel for the Louisiana Medicaid Program..

Having served as a foster parent for several years before finalizing the adoption of her beautiful daughter, Kayleigh, in 2018, Haley is driven by a deep sense of duty and desire to protect and advocate for the health, safety, and well-being of the children of Louisiana.
