As of October 1, 2025, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Family Independence Temporary Assistance Program (FITAP), and Kinship Care Subsidy Program (KCSP) in Louisiana officially transitioned from DCFS to the Louisiana Department of Health.
