Payment Policy and Discharge Planning

DCFS Child Welfare staff work with hospital providers to ensure that children in foster care receive necessary, timely medical attention, and that payments are reimbursed by Medicaid. This partnership includes sharing of information, following policy, and completion of necessary forms.
