Advanced Safety Focused Practice Foundations Training (Thibodaux Region, Session 1)

The purpose of this training is to give participants a foundational, yet precise, understanding of key concepts related to safety assessment and safety intervention used in child welfare practice. The training will also help participants understand and differentiate between present and impending danger, and participants will be provided with guidance for responding to both. This training also will work through information collection sufficiency in the six areas of family assessment and criteria based decision making within the context of safety intervention in Child Welfare Practice.
