Foster Care Assessment and Case Planning with the Family

This training session is a concentrated, foster care and family services program-specific, curriculum designed to enhance foster care and family services caseworker knowledge and skills in working with children, biological parents and foster parents. Specific content includes: Engagement, Separation & Attachment, Grief and Loss, Interviewing Techniques, Accurate and thorough Assessments Child Developmental Stages and Issues, Developing Behaviorally stated and Objectives, and Determining Supports and Service Provision with the Family.

Special instructions: This training is for all Foster Care and Family Services workers who have completed all Sessions of New Worker Orientation and staff reassigned to the Foster Care and Family Services programs who have not have not received previous training on Case Planning.
