Introduction To Acss for new DCFS Child Welfare Staff

This training includes background information and step-by-step instructions designed to help you learn the ACESS system and to use it to perform your job. The course is taught using the ACESS Training Environment, which performs like the true system, except the Training Environment is always at least a build behind, because of ongoing improvements and updates to the current system.

Prerequisite: New Worker Orientation Week One

Special instructions: All participants should register through their Regional Training Coordinator
Refer to Memorandum 09-049, Budget Saving Measures regarding travel, lodging, meals and the use of state vehicles. Also, refer to DCFS Memorandum 2010-01 (A-C) and Training Memorandum TM 14-017.
