Introduction To ACESS for New DCFS Child Welfare Staff

This training includes background information and step-by-step instructions designed to help you learn the ACESS system and to use it to perform your job. The course is taught using the ACESS Training Environment, which performs like the true system, except the Training Environment is always at least a build behind, because of ongoing improvements and updates to the current system.
Prerequisite: New Worker Orientation Week One
Parking: Participants are to park in the Welcome Center parking garage on North Street (last garage on the right side of street). Bring the garage parking ticket to the training session so it can be validated.
Special instructions: Refer to Memorandum 09-049, Budget Saving Measures regarding travel, lodging, meals and the use of state vehicles. Also, refer to DCFS Memorandum 2010-01 (A-C) and Training Memorandum TM 14-017.
