Child Welfare New Worker Orientation Week Two

This training session is for Child Welfare Staff unable to attend the New Worker Orientation Week Two session August 4-8, 2014. This training will provide fundamental knowledge and skills needed for Child Welfare services delivery common to CPA, FS and FC program areas. This training will include interviewing skills, family engagement, and safety focused practice as it relates to Child Welfare practice and services

Special instructions: Once supervisors approve staff to attend this training, supervisors must send the participants' Name, EIN, Region and Program to DCFS.CW-Training@LA.Gov

Parking is located in the Welcome Center parking garage on North Street (last garage on right side of street). Parking parking tickets must be presented to trainers for validation. This training will begin at 8:30 am and end at 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday. On Friday the training will begin at 8:30 am and will end at noon.
