Introduction to ACESS for Child Welfare Staff

This course is taught using the ACESS Training Environment which performs like the true
system in which you enter cases when back at your office with only one exception: the
Training Environment is always at least a build behind. That means the agency is always
updating information into the system and making modifications to improve our current
system.
This training includes background information and step-by-step instructions designed to
help you learn the ACESS system and to use it to perform your job.

Special instructions: Once approved, supervisors are to send the participants Name,EIN,
Region, and Program to DCFS.CW-Training@LA.GOV. The deadline for registration
is August 22, 2014.

Park in the Welcome Center parking garage (on North Street, last garage on the right hand
side). Bring the ticket to the training session so it can be validated.
A sweater is recommended due to the temperature of the room.
