Child Welfare New Worker Orientation Specialized Week

This training week will address Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, and Specialized Training for all programs

Special instructions: New Child Welfare employees and their supervisors will receive an email notice from DCFS CW Training regarding their registration for these trainings. Space is limited to the first 24 new Child Welfare hires.

Supervisors requesting to register a current employee who has transferred to a new program for Specialized Week should email the employees name, EIN, Region, and Program to DCFS.CW-Training@LA.GOV by August 14, 2015.

Pre-training and Structured Activities will be provided upon registration. All prerequisites for training must be complete and signed off by a supervisor or manager prior to attending training sessions.

All employees are responsible for adhering to the State Travel Regulations which are posted at http://www.doa.louisiana.gov/osp/travelpolicy.htm.
