"Most Wanted" Poster Features 18 Who Owe Nearly $945,000 in Child Support

09.01.11 - The Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) today published its "Most Wanted" poster, a list of 18 non-custodial parents who owe nearly $945,000. The poster, which features individuals owing at least $10,000 who have not paid child support in at least six months, includes each non-payor's photo, last known address, number of children and how much they owe, along with "WANTED" printed in bright red across the top.

03.03.11 - Today, Governor Bobby Jindal was joined by education, health care and child services stakeholders to announce an Executive Order making Louisiana one of the first states in the nation to formally bring together the leadership of all four child-serving agencies - the Office of Juvenile Justice, the Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of Health and Hospitals and the Department of Education - to form a statewide Coordinated System of Care for youth with significant behavioral health needs.
